The curly barrels

The curling barrels allow you to create beautiful, consistent curls without using extreme heat. They work with a combination of air and heat that gently shapes the hair. Two barrels are included – one that curls the hair to the left and one to the right, so you can create a symmetrical or natural look.

    1. Prepare the hair – It should be about 80% dry to hold its shape best.
    2. Choose the barrel – Use the left barrel for one side of the face and the right barrel for the other for an open look.
    3. Section the hair – Work with small sections to ensure the curls are even.
    4. Let the airflow take the hair – Hold the tips close to the barrel and let the air draw the hair in.
    5. Hold and set with cold air – Hold for 5-10 seconds, then use the Cool Shot button to set the curl.
    6. Release gently – Let the curl fall softly without touching it too much.
    7. Repeat and finish – Continue until all hair is styled, setting with appropriate products.
    • Always use the correct barrel for the side of the hair you are working with to get a harmonious look.
    • Switch between the two barrels to create a more natural and vibrant result.
    • Section your hair with hair clips before styling so you work systematically and ensure uniform curls.
    • Wait to touch the curls until they have completely cooled down so they last longer.
    • If you want the tightest and most durable curls, you can put them in hair clips after styling and let them cool in the shape.
    • If you want softer waves, you can gently brush out the curls with your fingers or a wide-toothed comb once they have completely cooled.
    • Hair is too dry or too wet – If the hair is too dry, the curls will not hold, and if it is too wet, it will not dry properly in shape.
    • Too large sections of hair – Smaller sections give more defined and lasting curls.
    • Forgetting to use Cool Shot – The cold air helps to hold the curl and increases durability.
    • Style both sides with the same barrel – Use the left barrel for the left side and the right barrel for the right for a symmetrical look.
    • Heat Protection – Apply to towel-dried hair before blow-drying to protect against heat.
    • Volume spray or mousse – Apply to damp hair before blow-drying for extra volume and hold.
    • Light hairspray – Use as the final step after styling to set the hairstyle without making the hair stiff.

The volume brush

Designed to add body, lift roots and create a soft, smooth finish, the volumizing brush is ideal for achieving a classic blow-dry look with volume, shape and movement.

    1. Prepare your hair – It should be about 80% dry before you start styling. Apply heat protection and possibly a volumizing spray or mousse for extra body.
    2. Section the hair – Use hair clips to divide the hair into smaller sections for better control over styling.
    3. Lift the roots – Place the brush at the scalp, lift the hair upwards, and blow hot air downwards to create volume from the bottom.
    4. Smooth the hair – Slowly pull the brush through the hair from root to tip in a smooth motion for a smooth finish.
    5. Twist for more shape – If you want to create more movement or soft tips, you can twist the brush slightly inward or outward as you run it through the hair.
    6. Roll hair around the brush for extra volume – Want even more lift and fullness? Roll a section of hair around the brush, hold for 3-5 seconds, and gently release.
    7. Fix with Cool Shot – Use the cold air setting for a few seconds on each section to lock in the shape and increase durability.
    8. Repeat and finish – Continue until all hair is styled, and finish with a light hairspray to hold the style in place without weighing the hair down.
    • Pull the brush upwards at the roots for maximum volume.
    • If you want to create extra movement at the ends, you can turn the brush slightly inward or outward.
    • Use smaller sections for more control and smoother styling.
    • For a more defined blow-dry look, you can roll your hair around the brush and hold it for a few seconds before releasing it.
    • Hair is too wet – Volume is best achieved when the hair is approximately 80% dry before styling.
    • Pulling the brush through the hair too quickly – Go slowly for smoother, more controlled styling.
    • Forgetting to use Cool Shot – The cold air helps maintain the shape.
    • For large sections of hair – Smaller sections provide better control and a more even result.
    • Heat Protection – Apply to towel-dried hair before blow-drying to protect against heat.
    • Volume spray or mousse – Apply to damp hair before blow-drying to create extra volume and hold.
    • Lightweight hairspray – Use after styling to maintain volume and shape without weighing down the hair.

The wave brush

The wave brush is perfect for achieving soft, natural waves with a slightly textured look. It works with a combination of heat and air to shape the hair without extreme heat. The best technique is to twirl the hair around the brush and pull down , creating the coveted beach wave look.

    1. Prepare the hair - The hair must be approx. 80% dry. Apply heat protection and optionally a light volumizing spray or mousse for extra texture.
    2. Section the hair – Use hair clips to divide the hair so you are working with smaller sections at a time.
    3. Start at the roots – Place the brush at the scalp and twist it slightly to give the hair a natural lift.
    4. Twist the hair around the brush – Take a section of hair and gently twist it around the brush while pulling it slowly downwards. This creates the wavy effect.
    5. Change direction for a more natural look – Turn some sections inward and others outward for a more effortless, beach-inspired style.
    6. Use Cool Shot to set the waves – Once a section is styled, use the cold air for a few seconds to set the shape.
    7. Repeat on all hair – Continue twisting and pulling each section until all hair has a uniform wave effect.
    • Use smaller sections for more defined waves.
    • Pull the brush downward in a smooth motion while twirling the hair so that the waves fall naturally.
    • Brush gently with your fingers after styling for a more messy beach look.
    • Avoid touching the waves too early so they last longer.
    • Twisting the hair too tightly – This can create too much tension and make the waves look unnatural. Keep it light and relaxed.
    • Pulling too fast – Go slowly to give the waves time to form.
    • Forgetting Cool Shot – The cold air helps lock the waves in place.
    • Too large sections of hair – Smaller sections create a more defined and long-lasting wave.
    • Heat Protection – Apply before blow-drying to protect hair.
    • Volume spray or texture spray – Apply before styling for extra volume and a beachy effect.
    • Light hairspray – Use as the final step to hold the waves without making the hair stiff.

Smooth Dryer

Designed to reduce frizz and flyaways while leaving hair silky soft and shiny, the Smooth Dryer smoothes the hair's surface by combining hot air and ionic technology, making it perfect for finishing your styling or preparing hair for further styling.

    1. Prepare the hair - The hair must be approx. 80% dry. Apply heat protectant to protect hair.
    2. Section the hair – Use hair clips to divide the hair into smaller sections for better control.
    3. Start at the roots – Place the Smooth Dryer close to the scalp and slowly run it through the hair in the direction of the hair strands.
    4. Glide along the hair – Slowly pull the brush from root to tip without stopping along the way to ensure even straightening.
    5. Use Cool Shot to lock the style – Once a section is smooth, use the cold air for a few seconds to set the result.
    6. Repeat on all hair – Continue until all hair is smooth, soft and frizz-free.
    • Work in small sections to ensure even smoothness.
    • Hold the brush at an angle that follows the direction of the hair strands so that the hair lays neatly.
    • Use the cold air function to enhance shine and reduce frizz even more.
    • Finish with an anti-frizz spray or serum for an extra polished look.
    • Pulling through hair too quickly – Go slowly for maximum smoothing.
    • Uses too large sections of hair – Smaller sections give a more uniform result.
    • Forgetting Cool Shot – The cold air helps lock the shine and shape in place.
    • Starting with too wet hair – Hair should be almost dry for the best effect.
    • Heat Protection – Apply before styling to protect hair.
    • Lightweight anti-frizz spray or serum – Apply after styling to maintain a smooth and shiny look.
    • Light hairspray – Use as the final step to hold the hairstyle in place without weighing the hair down.

The brush

The included brush works like a classic hairbrush, but with an added advantage: it has two sides designed to adapt to different hair types and needs.

    1. Choose the right side
One side has softer bristles, perfect for fine and straight hair. The other side has firmer bristles, ideal for thicker or curly hair.
    2. Start at the ends – If your hair is tangled, start by gently brushing from the ends and work your way up towards the roots.
    3. Brush in long, even strokes – Run the brush through the hair in natural motions to distribute hair oils and reduce frizz.
    4. Use it to finish your styling – Perfect for loosening curls for a more natural look or smoothing out waves.
    • Use the softer side for gentle detangling of fine hair or to smooth the hairstyle after styling.
    • The firmer side is ideal for combing through thicker hair or creating more volume at the roots.
    • Use the brush in combination with a light anti-frizz spray for extra smoothness.
    • Brushing too aggressively on tangled hair – Always start from the ends and work your way up to avoid unnecessary wear and tear.
    • Using the wrong side – Fine hair benefits from the soft bristles, while thick hair requires the firmer side.
    • Brushing your hair too soon after styling – Wait until your hair has cooled completely to maintain its shape as best as possible.

Concentrator Nozzle

The Concentrator Nozzle is designed to provide a more precise airflow, making it easier to blow-dry hair with more control. It is ideal for creating a smooth finish, straightening hair, or adding volume at the roots using a round brush.

    1. Prepare hair – Hair should be approximately 80% dry. Apply heat protectant to protect from heat.
    2. Attach the concentrator nozzle – Click the nozzle onto the styler to focus the airflow.
    3. Section the hair – Use hair clips to divide the hair so you are working in smaller sections.
    4. Airflow Direction – Point the nozzle down along the hair strands , not directly at them, to smooth the cuticle and reduce frizz.
    5. Use a brush for extra smoothness – Run a round brush or paddle brush through your hair while using the airflow to achieve a smooth finish.
    6. Lift at the roots for volume – Hold the brush at the scalp and direct the airflow upwards to create extra lift.
    7. Fix with Cool Shot – Once a section is dried and shaped, use the cold air to fix the result.
    • Hold the blow dryer at the right angle – The airflow should follow the direction of the hair strands to minimize frizz and maximize shine.
    • Use a round brush for extra volume and shape – Perfect for giving hair a natural lift.
    • Work in small sections – Provides better control and smoother styling.
    • Finish with an anti-frizz spray or light oil to enhance shine.
    • Using too much heat on already dry hair – Can lead to unnecessary damage. Only use heat on damp hair.
    • Holding the blow dryer too close to the hair – Can create frizz. Hold it a few inches away.
    • Forgetting to switch to Cool Shot – Cold air helps lock in the shape and reduce heat load.
    • Heat Protection – Apply before blow-drying to protect hair.
    • Volume spray or mousse – Perfect for giving lift at the roots if you want more volume.
    • Lightweight hairspray or anti-frizz spray – Use after styling to hold the shape and reduce static electricity.

The diffuser

Designed to enhance natural curls and waves , while reducing frizz and preserving the hair's natural texture, the diffuser evenly disperses the airflow, making it perfect for creating a more voluminous and defined look without disrupting the shape of the curls.

    1. Prep your hair – Start with damp hair (about 80% dry). Apply heat protection and a curling cream or mousse to enhance the texture.
    2. Attach the diffuser – Click the diffuser onto the styler and select low to medium airflow and heat to protect curls.
    3. Section the hair (optional) – If you have a lot of hair, you can divide it into sections for more control.
    4. Lift hair into the diffuser – Place a section of hair in the diffuser bowl and gently guide it up towards the scalp. Hold for a few seconds to allow the curls to take shape.
    5. Work throughout hair – Repeat the process on the rest of the hair, avoiding touching the curls too much to minimize frizz.
    6. Flip your head down for extra volume – If you want even more volume, you can gently flip your head down while diffusing.
    7. Use Cool Shot to lock in the shape – Finish with cold air to set the curls and make them more long-lasting.
    • Use low heat and airflow to protect the curls and prevent them from being blown out of shape.
    • Avoid running your fingers through your hair while diffusing as this can create frizz.
    • Add extra definition by gently scrunching the hair upwards while it dries in the diffuser.
    • For more volume, let hair dry partially on its own before using the diffuser.
    • Using too much heat or airflow – Can create frizz and disrupt the shape of curls.
    • Dries hair completely smooth – The diffuser is best for preserving natural curls and waves.

Touching your hair too much while drying – Let the diffuser do the work to avoid frizz.

Forgetting Cool Shot – The cold air helps hold the shape and reduce frizz.

    • Heat Protection – Apply before styling to protect hair.
    • Curling cream or mousse – Use on damp hair to enhance curls and provide hold.
    • Light hairspray or anti-frizz spray – Apply after drying to hold curls in place and reduce static.
